Large-scale oil storage bases are established here. Also, based upon the concept of serving as a hub for environmental industries, infrastructure has been established, attracting communities of recycling-related industries, making this an ideal zone for environmental or energy-related industries.
The port has a water area large enough to accommodate large (100,000-ton-class) ships and a vast, flat hinterland with a thermal power plant and logistics facilities.
